Won't receive emails from S10+ phone

My Charge 3 fitbit won't receive emails from the Samsung email app on my S10+ phone. Thoughts....

It's the Fitbit app. There have been threads and I have also chatted with someone from Fitbit and they said that there are issues ongoing with the andriod devices and issues with the iPhone's as well. I have a Note 10 plus, and I'm not receiving any text notifications, but I AM receiving notifications from other apps, just not the text message app.

Forgot to mention, the Samsung email App option was selected from notification options within the Fitbit app on my phone.

That's what I thought...it's the Fitbit App.  In addition, I can receive a notification on my fitbit that a message has arrived but can not see either the message or who sent it. Hopefully Fitbit can resolve this issue.
