I treed plugging it into the charger and holding down the button. Affter a few VIBRATES there is a line on the screen which then crosses the screen and the HAPPY FACE appears.

The HAPPY FACE disappears after a few seconds and I still cannot get the screen to light up.

If I touch the button it VIBRATES so I think there is power.

How do I reset to start again?

First, try installing a different clock face.
