Won’t sync. Losses time and then can’t get notifications

My Fitbit refused to sync for two days and then started to lose time did all troubleshooting nothing worked now and then suddenly worked but  I can not get notifications ( which happens regularly). And troubleshooting assist.  Very frustrated worst Fitbit ever had. And tips to stop this
