Wrist Orientation won't change

My father wrote his charge 2 on his right wrist for about a week and then stopped using it entirely.

I want to start wearing it on my left wrist now, however the Charge 2 won't change the screen orientation no matter how many times I restart the device or change the orientation in the app.

@nagpalsameer  The Charge 2 can only be worn in one orientation because the Quick View only works in one direction.  It would be nice if the orientation could switch -- I would rather push the button with my finger instead of my thumb.  Unfortunately, it does not.

I, too, would like to turn the clock face around so I could push the button with my finger instead of thumb.

Thank you for informing. I had struggling with trying to change the orientation for a good half an hour at least.

Sync your data with the app, and do a hard reset. (A hard reset is, basically, connect to charger, press the button, while charging, until you see it's reset.) After taking it off the charger, sync with the app, and it should be back to assuming you're right handed and wearing the Charge 2 on your left wrist. At least it's worked for me. That's worked for other things as well.

Hi,

If this is true, why does the app say (for my charge 2) ‘Fitbit charge 2 adjusts its orientation based on which wrist you wear it on’

I managed to switch the orientation in the past but it’s not working today
