Wrist rotation not working on Charge HR

Hi, I am new to the fitbit experience. I have just recently purchased a fitbit and I've heard that when you rotate your wrist, the screen comes on. When I rotate my wrist, the screen does not come on. Is there anything I can do to make this work? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Press and hold the side button on your Fitbit charge 3 and select screen wake. Worked for me 🙂

This worked for my Fitbit Charge 3. I must have turned this off when I took it off and put it down on the bathroom counter. Thanks for the tip!

I have a Fitbit charge 3 and there is nothing in settings about the screen lighting up when you left your rest. But on the device itself there is a setting called screen wake. It was difficult to find. From the main screen hold the button in.

Hi there, i tried that but mi fit bit does not have option, any other suggestion ?

Daniela, on the Charge 3, hold down button on left side of charge. It’ll immediately say screen wake. Tap it and it looks lit on.

Daniel if you don't have a Fitbit Charge 3 holding the button and choosing
screen wake doesn't work. Try suggestions for the model you have

Thank you so much for your help. Something so simple but makes you wonder. My screen must have been changed to off by mistake when hitting the wrong button a time or two. Thanks again for sharing 

On mine you don’t have to swipe to quick screen settings. You simply

press and hold button> select screen wake to turn on.

I have also lost the ‘Quick View’ setting. How do I get it back please?

If you hold the button on the left screen awake will pop up make sure that is set to auto. That is how I fixed mine I think I had accidentally hit it once. Hope this helps
