Hello all
i know that this might have been answered several times in the forum, but would love some feedback to help me with my anxiety.
i have cardiophobia and have been using a Fitbit to track HR and make myself feel better, but more recently I see that the charge HR heart rate is consistently 10-15 BPM above the measured value( manual measurement). Is this something you have seen before? Is it a common problem? Would love some help.

For mild activities Fitbit Charge 3 is in reasonable agreement with Garmin chest strap, however it seem to fail to capture heart rate accurately during burst or high intensity segments

I just encountered this exact problem. I went for a bike ride and whilst waiting for the gps (sense) to connect/get bike out of garage my HR was 92 (seemed a little high), rode my mountain bike for 40+ minutes at 12+ mph (34 lb bike with 2.5" knobbies, so the calorie counter is also off by 25-35% relative to Strava and Men's Health calculator). Anyway, I get off the bike, stop the activity and have 0 zone minutes because my average HR during the ride was 82 (yesterday on a similar ride was 123). I put the bike away, walked into the house, my HR jumped (according the graph on the web interface) to 115, so, I got 3 zone minutes while walking in from the ride but 0 while on the ride. Furthermore, it shows my HR at under 50 at points throughout the ride... my HR is never under 50... 64 once in a blue moon, resting is 72-78 typically.
Also, my GPS takes minutes to connect and will only connect outside. My wife and daughter's connects in seconds inside the house.
