Wrong time showing

I charged up my Charge 2 and when I went to put it back on, its showing the wrong time of day. Tried looking at the app on my android to see if there was anywhere to check that setting but there doesnt seem to be. I tried switching it off and putting it back on, no change. Any suggestions?

You have to sync your tracker to set the time automatically.

I have the same problem. I synced and time still hasn't changed.  I tried turning off the option to sync to network and set the correct time zone.  Time is still wrong.  Any other suggestion would be appreciated.

I've managed to sync it (after umpteen tries!) and its finally fixed itself.
Thanks for the advice

Hi I’m just wondering how you did it? Having the same issue, stuck on yesterday’s date /time/steps (But the app is tracking all my information still)

I tried several times to sync it and it couldnt find the device. I sat it aside yesterday and when I looked at it today, the time was correct. I'm presuming there was a connection issue but cant understand why it would have changed time in the first place!

Hi there! So the time on my watch and  the app are correct, but When I look back at my data for my recent run I do not see any data for my heart rate and it shows that the time I was running was +3 hrs from Current time.  This is now the 4th time this happened and it is getting quite frustrating! I've updated my application, made sure it is charged, resynchronized data and still no change.

I am having the same problem. Mine shows 8 hours difference in times after I sync and all my previous exercise history has changed times and has no HR data. I have updated the software to the latest. My daughter did not update and hers seems to be ok.

How do you since tracker for auto time?

In the fitbit app, click on profile icon in upper left corner, then go to
Advanced Settings and at the top you will see time zone. Currently I have
mine set to (not automatically) and Los Angeles (PST).

You can also see that there is a problem with the application and tracker
communicating because on my exercise (see below) it should be exercise at
3:44PM but it is recording 7:44AM and there is no data recorded because the
app is not reflecting the correct PST time even though it is set for PST.

Also ALL my previous exercise days are reflecting the wrong date so
basically all my exercise history is wiped out.

Similar here. Watch and app time are correct, but my workouts are being split. The heart rate/steps have the correct time, but the GPS data registers as five hours in the future. I am US Eastern time, so I am guessing the five hours in the future is related to GMT.
