Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 and Charge 2 GPS issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I use exercise mode for running or biking I don't get map, distance or splits info. A rudimentary map appears sometimes (straight lines between main points). I suppose it's a GPS problem. I see the phone symbol on my Charge 2  during activity so it is connected. Had a Galaxy before and worked fine. It also worked when I first got this phone. Anyone else? Any ideas? Thanks

@PinkAvocet Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!

Let me help you with your GPS data recording. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.
