band keeps coming loose at the watch base

Anyone else having issues with the watch band coming loose all the time right at the base of the watch? The actual buckle and the band itself are perfectly fine and intact. Its just the connection between the band and the watch. Right at the connection point where the two metal pieces insert like a small puzzle, it keeps coming loose. Was it really just glued together and sold like that and the glue just finally wore off? That's not whats going on, is it?
