battery completely discharged and now time and date is wrong

time and date is wrong  , how do I correct this.

Mine has done the same thing, and when I tried to open the App, there was nothing. It a brief flash of apple products listed and then a blank screen. Nothing loaded. I'm guessing we may need to start over, I just don't know how! My time is reading about 6-1/2 hours off!
