broken charging port

There must be a flaw in the charging port.  This is the second fit bit HR I have owned and the plates around the port have broken off in exactly the same way making charging impossible.  It is frustrating because I just had to buy a new band because that broke.

Which tracker do you have? The original Charge HR does not have a replaceable band.
