When accessing my Fitbit dashboard (Win10) I am constantly asked for my username password. After going through this I check the box "keep me logged in". Even though the window is open for a time, I am forced to re log in. It then asks me to retrieve an sms 4 digit code.
I do not need this level of security. I am very happy to just enter my username and password and leave the page open and refresh when I want.
Is there a way to remove this 2FA silliness in a control/settings panel? I don't need it and not worried about security and others viewing my exercise opportunities.

I don't see a way to do it via MS Windows, but...
Looks like it's controlled via the Fitbit (smartphone; tablet) app...
After opening the Fitbit app...
Tap your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen.
Tap 'Account Settings'.
Tap 'Two Factor Authentication'.
Tap the 'Two Factor Authentication' slider, which is on the right.
That slider should end up slid to the left.
That should do it.

Thank you very much. Any way to get rid of the username password requirement? I'm using on my desktop in my own home. TIA

You can't bypass the sign in requirement completely, but...
You can login using a Google account, if you have one, which is faster.
If you have a Google account, like gmail, and are already logged into that, then click on the 'Continue with Google' button, which is the 3rd item down from the top of the Fitbit sign in screen...

Continue with Google
Since Google owns Fitbit, Fitbit trusts Google accounts, therefore, you can use your Google account to sign into your Fitbit account.
Fitbit will still periodically force you to sign in again, but at least you won't need to enter your e-mail address, and password, just click a couple buttons.
