My sister's friend Suzanne gave her her old Fitbit she got a new one. My sister gave this Charge 4 to me. I can't get it to work. My sister's friend has a new Fitbit; but may not have deleted the old account for this one. My sister asked Suzanne to delete that "connection" but says Suzanne doesn't know how to do that and told my sister to just throw away the watch. Is there anything I can do to make this perfectly functional old watch work?

It really doesn't matter @Shel123 as long as your sisters friend's phone is not nearby. You should be able to set the. Charge 4 up, and at this time the tracker will be removed from her account.
However when she added the new tracker, the Charge 4 was automatically removed.
I assume that your following the setup procedure @Shel123
At what step does the failure occure. And any error messages?
