After the new update to the app (don't know if it has anything to do with it) my charge 2 went from holding charge for at least a week to not even a day. It has been the last 4 days it will die before the day is over.

Hello @Meganleigh7985, it is great to see new faces aboard! 🙂 Hmmm this sounds extremely weird. I recently updated mine too and is not giving me battery issues at all. Let me suggest you something, there are some tips in this post to make the battery last longer, so I urge you to take a look at them and in a few days see if they work. In addition, you could also try to restart your Fitbit, fully charge it and keep an eye on the battery life through the days.
Let me know how it goes!

Same thing. Charge may last anywhere from 1 to 3 days......

Welcome to the Community @almostfit2017! Oh! The battery of the Charge 2 should last up to 5 days with normal use. It could last longer depending on how many features you have on or you are using (Notifications, reminders to move, etc.) so I would like to know if you have followed the instructions that I posted above to make the battery of your tracker lasts longer. If the issues persists, let me know and I will help you out!
Have a nice day!

I have this issue. I did the battery saving shut-offs and tried to reset several times. Bought these in Feb. You would think the battery would last longer than that. Ant help?

I reset my Fitbit and I stopped charging it before it goes dead and it has helped a lot!

The issue is not that it doesn't charge, it is that it doesn't HOLD a charge. When it is fully charged it last about 2-3 hours before it goes dead. I thought it was supposed to last 5-7 day. For it only being 4 month old this can't be right.

My charge 2 is doing the same exact thing. I was working Sunday, Monday I put it on the charger, it wouldn't charge. It finally charged and lasted maybe 40 minutes before it went dead again.

I have noticed that my Fitbit charge does not last as long as it used to. It used to last about a week, but the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that it is only lasting 4-5 days. I'm not doing anything different.

My problem is solved. Customer service said battery was bad. They sent me a new one and it works perfect. One week on this charge and I'm still at 45% battery. Customer service was exceptional. Very pleasant to talk to and quick to take care of my problem. Thanks so much.

I would also like to know how they came to the definitive conclusion that the battery was the issue.
Perhaps that is everyone's problem which would call for a massive recall!
