fitbit charge 2 bought about 1 year ago battery and strap issues

First  the strap started giving me problems. now when i take my hand out of my pocket or jump down stairs, the strap just comes off. 

About 5 days ago now my fitbit wont hold a charge longer than one day. I have to charge it at night daily to use next day. Its ridiculous. Whats going on with this product? Are they only suppose to work for 1 year? I would like to report this to Fitbit. Can someone tell me the best means to reach out to Fitbit about this problem.

See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery
