Did you mean:

fitbit charge hr completely dead apart from a single 8 second flash

my Fitbit Charge HR has stopped working.

I charged it fully and the display showed the full battery charge. once I took it off charge the display went blank and would not respond at all. I checked these forums and I tried the steps to restart the fitbit and to perform a factory reset but there is no response at all from the fitbit. I also tried to leave it on charge for 4 hours to see if it could right itself but nothing still.

the only think that I can get it to do is if I plug in the charger and hold the button down the HR leds flash once after 8 seconds and then nothing.

please can you help ?

Not good news, but it sounds like your battery has been charged to many times and it won't charge anymore.

You can email Fitbit if you still have warrenty and they will send you a new one.

@DavidGoldsmith

I guess this comment thought you had a battery problem.

Maybe copy and paste your symptom and email customer support.

Or try this, may take 3 or 4 tries for it to reset and sync properly.

Restart your FitBit

Hello David,

I seem to have the same issue as yourself ...

Did you manage to get it sorted?
