Hi, I just gave my old fitbit hr to my mum but i can't set it up on her phone.
I've deleted it from my account and manage to get to the point where i put a 4 digit pin thats displayed on the fitbit into the app then it get's stuck. Ive tried restarting both the phone and the fitbit.
I thought it might be my mums phone so tried to re-connect to mine but same thing happens. It's not been used for a while so it may need an update but i cant do this till it's connected to a device.
The date and time displayed on the fitbit are wrong but other than that it tracks setps etc fine, just wont connect!
Really really frustrating....... so much so i'm ready to chuck it in the bin!!!
Please help!

Often when people pass on a fitbit they remember to disconnect the fitbit from their account but are not aware that they need to delete any connection to the fitbit in their phone's bluetooth settings as this could be blocking connection to the new phone. At first I thought your problem might be down to this but I'm not sure I can explain why it won't reconnect to your phone. Still, it's worth trying.
The other common issue is where the new owner's phone is not supported by fitbit. You can check at www.fitbit.com/devices Again, though, this can't explain the inability to reconnect to your phone.
One last thought. If it's not happy connecting to either phone could there be other bluetooth devices around that are interfering in some way?

You could also, on your phone, log into moms account. Setup the Charge HR.
Now on your phone log out of moms account and remove the Charge HR from your phones Bluetooth.
