I'm having a problem connecting my fitbits (charge 2 and charge 3) to my phone (Huawei p20 lite). I contacted customer service and went through all of the toubleshooting steps. Then they gave up and just offered me a replacement. But I borrowed an Iphone today and managed to sync both of them so its obviously a problem with the ap on my phone rather than the devices themselves.
Once I realised they would pair on a different device I've tried deleting and reinstalling the ap again. Deleting and re adding the devices in the ap and now they wont pair the bluetooth. I've followed the instructions on changing the power management settings. But its still not syncing.

There seems to be an issue with using the p20 Lite. Have a look at the following help article that has some suggestions:

Your tracker only needs to be setup once and by only one phone.
If it doesn't sync, then we have a sync issue and want to check these tips.
Another tip is to shutdown phone not just a restart.
Also please try clearing the fitbit app's cache.

yes I've done all those things. The problem seems to be is not pairing properly. When it goes into the bluetooth pairing screen it doesn't bring up the dialog box to allow it to pair.
Its irrelevant for the Charge 3 now anyway as that is draining its battery in a few hours so needs to be replaced anyway but it will obviously still be an issue with whatever I replace it with.

@LxPeanut can you tell us what steps you are doing?
What do you mean by the dialog box will not come up? Where is this dialog box?
Are you still able to setup the tracker through an iPhone?
