My fitbit charge 2 won't sync or update..it shows the wrong time. I tried a restart to my fitbit, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I even restarted my phone to no avail.

Mine won’t since at all. I just got the iPhone 11. Could it be the new phone because it was syncing to my old phone

I'm having exactly the same issues since last Wednesday. For no reason. Same phone, same device, same WiFi connection??? I've tried everything which included deleting and adding it again as a new device which means I've lost all my steps 😭😭

I have a similar problem, since the recent software update I am unable to sync with my Samsung Galaxy A20e, and understand this phone is now not on the list of 'compatible' devices, even though it worked perfectly with the earlier software, so clearly due to the recent software update. I suggest you check with the Fitbit list of compatible phones/devices which is on the web site to see if yours is also now not compatible.

That is ridiculous! That is a total lack of respect for loyal, long term customers. I truly hope this will be rectified quickly. Is there nothing we can do to undo this update?

Mine won't either, called them and they said there is nothing they could do to get it working properly. They offered me a 25% of the purchase of a new one. Total bullcrap I don't want to buy a new one. Way to go fitbit. I will never buy another one of these.

Why would anyone buy a new one when they could turn around in 6 months and do the same thing again????

Mine has been having problems syncing once a week, every week, since the update and the only way to "fix" it is to restart my phone. Every time. This is obnoxious. Fitbit, you need to fix this update because it is irritating so many customers, you are very swiftly becoming not worth what you charge for your trackers.

I had this exact same issue. I have a charge 2 and a samsubg a40. It's not on the compatable list yet worked fine and synced fine til the clocks changed the other day. My app said I needed to update it and update my device but it wouldn't sync.i tried everything to fix it. Even removing my device from my fit bit account but them it couldnt pair it at all!
When I contacted customer services I got told its cos its not comparable too. But they also told me I can sync it via the cable to my computer.
This worked and once I had updated the app on my computer, it also updated the app on my phone, and now it syncs to my phone again ,and the time and date is correct. So hopefully me just updating the app through my computer has fixed it 🙂

Hello, I've tried this and my Fitbit won't even update when using a cable connected to my pc. Any other ideas?

Really? That's odd. I thought it would work for others too.
Is the app itself up to date?
Try re starting your computer?
Failing that
Try contacting customer services?
I'm sorry I'm not much help

All help and suggestions appreciated. I think there is a battery issue because nothing has worked and I can't even perform a factory reset. I've asked customer services to contact me but still waiting after 24 hours. Ho hum

I've been in contact with customer service but they were of no help whatsoever! They told me that unfortunately my phone is not compatible with the fitbit at present but had no explanation at all for the fact that my phone has been completely compatible since last march when I upgraded it, up to and including the time change, and just stopped syncing on October 30th and then when I tried to re pair it, it says no device found.

I have also had this problem since Monday, it may have been because I updated to Android 10 on Monday. Fitbit then told me my password was incorrect, I use LastPass so I knew it was correct. Eventually I pressed the, "Forgot password", it sent me an email link, I changed the password then... at first it said I did not have Fitbit account and would not log me in (I had updated the password in LastPass). I then restarted my computer, cleared the cache and finally it is working again. I hope this works for some of you.

I have not been able to sync my watch since October 25. It either does not show up on Bluetooth, or it does show up it won't pair. I chatted with Fitbit help, and after a runaround of all the steps I've already tried, he admitted that there is a problem with android devices pairing since the recent update. He assured me their engineers are working on it expeditiously! But for the moment, I have a fairly useless exercise tracker. When are they going to fix this?

Having same problem with my Samsung A10. Fitbit worked perfectly fine with my previous HTC but has been sporadic with this phone since I got it 2 months ago .
When it stopped syncing the other day, I deleted the device and set the Fitbit up as a new device ( had worked before) . However when I try to pair the device with the phone, it won't complete. The phone will send a code to the Fitbit but won't connect.
I've tried everything. I've restarted bluetooth, the phone, reset the Fitbit, deleted paired devices, reinstalled the app Etc.. Etc. Etc.
Totally fed up now. Can't understand why a company worth billions cannot sort this.
