fully dead, but shows full battery on charger & won't turn on

Since Day 1, out of the box, my Charge 2 has been having problems charging/working. It would be completely dead, when I put it on charger, it would show full battery (even though I know for fact it's drained) & won't turn on or work. I noticed this only happens when it's fully drained. I've been trying to charge it before it can fully die, but it died last night while sleeping.

I've tried holding the button down to reset, but just shows Fitbit logo with 22.55.02 underneath. It would only vibrate and show a blank screen & full battery when I press the button. In the app, it shows fully charged also & has no problem syncing, but tracker screen won't turn on. Nothing comes up on the screen unless it's on the charger, which shows it's fully charged when it's not. I thought this problem would fix itself somehow, but now it won't even turn on or charge. Somebody please help if you've had the same problems!! This shouldn't be happening already since this was brand new and not even a month old!

Since Day 1, my charge 2 has been having this problem, but I hoped it would resolve itself. It would be completely dead and won't charge correctly. When put on the charger, Fitbit logo appears with 22.55.02 under it & shows full battery (even though it was fully drained). I've tried holding the button to reset while on charger, but it only vibrates and gives me the logo again. When taken off charger, it's only a black screen, nothing is working. I haven't even had my charge 2 for a month yet...

Having similar problem although my fit bit is just more then a year old. If yours is new within 1 year you can get it replaced.

I changed my battery on my charge 2 but the problem still there. If anyone post a solution please fwd to me.

You can try cleaning the charging contact.
