iPhone app sets duplicate alarms for Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When I set a new alarm for my Charge 2 using the Fitbit iPhone app, it creates two alarms, showing identical times.  This happens whether or not the alarm is set to repeat.

The first of the two is synchronised with my Charge 2.  The second gets labelled "Not Synced Yet".  If I attempt to delete the unsynced alarm, it is then synced.  If I then delete it and go back to the Charge 2 screen in the app and tap "Sync now", the duplicate is finally deleted.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there some fix I can apply, or should I just report a bug?

Thanks in anticipation,

Chris Woodhouse

This happens to me too on my Inspire 2, please can you help? There is currently an alarm which duplicated and I can’t delete it because it is greyed out. It’s very frustrating having to keep deleting duplicates!
Thanks

Getting a greyed out alarm sometimes happened to me. I found no way to remove it other than the nuclear option. I would sync my Charge 2 with my phone, then remove it from the phone, factory reset the Charge 2 then set it up in the iPhone app as a new device.

Fitbit support eventually pinned their hopes of solving the duplicate alarms fault on v3.64 of the app but that made no difference. At that point they metaphorically threw their hands in the air and said they couldn’t do anything further.

Sorry I can’t be of any more help.

Good luck!

Chris

Doesn’t sound promising then, but thanks for your reply Chris.
