metal plate and pins in arm

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I had a metal plate and pins placed 3 Years ago. I noticed on day 2 wearing my new charge hr I was having stiffness and pain in my arm and wrist. I found info suggesting to wear it on the other arm but could not find any information on why, or a warning to suggest that in the first place.
I'm just trying to figure out the cause incase it is a coincidence
Thanks

Hey @Jocelynk very welcome to the Community! Well, the Charge HR wristband is made of elastomer material similar to that used in many sports watches. It does not contain latex. The buckle is made of surgical-grade stainless steel. While all stainless steel contains nickel and may cause an allergic reaction in someone with nickel sensitivity, the amount of nickel in all Fitbit products meets the European Union's stringent Nickel Directive. However, I recommend contact Customer Support in order to find more information about this. Smiley Happy. In addition, let me share with you the Wear and Care page for cleaning instructions and care tips.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Wink

I'm not having any sort of reaction, other than pain in my arm (internally) around the metal plate. I had the surgery 3 Years ago and have had no issues prior

Thanks for clarifying @JocelynkSmiley Happy You can use your Fitbit tracker in your other wrist, you just need to log into your Online Dashboard in Fitbit.com and click on the Gear Icon (upper right corner) and click on Settings, select devices and scroll all the way down to Dominant, finally sync your tracker. The information will be accurate as if you were using in your other wrist.

I hope this info helps you, let me know if you have any additional question! Smiley Wink

I experienced the same pain after the third day and night wearing the Fitbit.

My metal plate and pins were added during wrist surgery 6 years ago

i have followed the steps to switch the Fitbit to my dominant wrist.

Pain was quite intense!! Troubling actually as it was painful enough to wake me last night!
