First, try restarting your phone, and then restarting your Fitbit tracker:

I googled your phone model from your signature and found this page:
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9500_galaxy_s4-5125.php
That lists your phone as Android 4.2. Is that correct? Fitbit needs at least Android 4.3 to sync on some devices.

There are known issues with Android 4.2:

You might simply have a phone that is not new enough. Did it work with Fitbit previously?

I restarted my phone and that alone did not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the fit bit app and that as well did not work. I saw that you recommended turning the Fitbit off and then on again. As I have a Zip, I simply removed the battery (turning it off) for about 5 minutes. Upon reinstallation of the battery (and continued prayer) it restarted beautifully! Thank-you for your guidance with this issue. Problem resolved successfully.
