over 10,000 steps and never had my charge 2 on

I forgot to put my Charge 2 on yesterday, and this morning noticed that it recorded over 10,000 steps.  I had my phone with me all day.  Is it possible my phone was acting as my Fitbit?

Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.

 

You can enter a driving record to get rid of them

Delete Steps

I have the same issue. Just minutes after midnight switching to 1 April my fitbit had 11.600 steps while it was just on my table. What is your solution?
