I went for my first run yesterday since purchasing the Charge 3. I began and ended the run via my phone app, and since then, I've had the "Connected GPS is Running" notification at the top of my phone, and my battery is draining quickly.
I've turned off the auto tracking on the Fitbit itself, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and restarted my phone. Besides turning all notifications off, I'm running out of options and patience. Has anyone got a true fix for this? Fitbit, is there some firmware update that can be pushed?
Thanks.

Welcome to the Forums, @Snowbungee.
Thanks for troubleshooting this GPS issue. Have you tried to turn off the location option? Did you get to finish the workout? In the meantime, check the article: How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?.
I hope to hear from you soon. 🙂

I run into something similar that the "Connected GPS is running" notification pops up on my phone unexpectedly. I assume it should only be turned on when you use the Exercise app on your Charge 3 and choose some exercise types with Connected GPS (e.g. run).
I resolved it by restarting the fitbit app.
