I walk twice a day and want to get info re: my first walk and then reset my fit so I can get info re: my second walk.
I hold the button down till it vibrates but not sure that zeros everything out before I start my second walk.
What is the correct procedure?

Hi @foxthefox are you using the exercise function or just wanting to know the steps taken in each walk? @WendyB answered your question last year. click to see her response to you.
Let us know if that helps you any.

Don't want to mess with my computer at all.
Sorry to be thick headed but ........Walk, see info on fitbit, zero it out and walk and see info from second walk, zero out record walk write down info, zero out...................................

@foxthefox these devices start at zero at midnight. There is no way for you to reset the Fitbit to zero. You'll need to write down the number of steps on your device before you start your walks and then write it down again when you're finished. It's the only way to really do what you want, unless you want to buy a $10 pedometer to accomplish the same thing.

Holding down the button are the start of the walk will put your Charge HR into its tracking mode. At the end of the walk, hold in the button to stop the tracking. Do this for every walk throughout the day.
After the tracker syncs, go to the list of your recorded walks by tapping the exercise tile.
Each exercise will tell you how many steps where taken for the walk.
Tap the individual exercise then the impact tab.
