Hi everyone! I looked around but couldn’t quite find what I was looking for, so here I am asking, hoping I don’t sound like a **ahem**.
so when I open my fit bit app (Charge 2) and go down towards the bottom, I tap on whatever my current BPM for the day is (pulsating red heart). That takes me to the area where it shows the activity for all of my active days. I’m perplexed on something. Why does it show on every active day, my various “exercise zones” as something I simply didn’t do? I work a very sedentary office job. I do maybe 2500 stars during the day. I don’t work out until I get home in the evening. I then do at least 60+ minutes of power walking/gym. Why does it show I do AT LEAST 8 hrs (if not more) of “fat burn”, usually accompanied by like 55 mins “cardio”, 10 mins “peak”? I swear there is no way I’m doing 8+ hours of cardio!
But yet, when I tap on “5 of 5 days of exercise this week” (I have it set for 5 days), it gives me a WAY more precise breakdown of what I really did on any given day.
Why is that? Again, I’m so sorry if the answer is obvious or under my nose....thank you in advance!

For one thing, "Fat Burn" is not really cardio. It is defined as 50%-70% of your max heart rate, max heart rate being approximated as 220 minus age. It is common to be in fat burn zone for just normal walking around, though that varies by individual. Take a look at your heart rate throughout the day. Anytime it is at least half of your max heart rate, you are at least in fat burn zone.
When you look at the days of exercise, it is showing your stats during just the time that is defined as a workout, either by you manually starting and ending the time with the exercise app, or by Fitbit auto-detecting a workout of at least the minimum required time.
