screen is black and not turning on

My charge HR screen is black I can hold it in a feel the timer but nothing comes up just a blank screen. Do you have a solution to this

@Joseph2, have you tried restarting it?  If not, try restarting it 3 times in a row, following the instructions in this help article, How do I restart my tracker?   If that does not correct it, you should contact Fitbit Support.

This happened to me when the battery was completely drained. I plugged it in to charge it and after a little while, I could see the charge indicator. Once it was charged, it acted normally (for awhile- see below).

As an aside, my FitBit has suddenly stopped holding a charge well. It drained dead in one day.
