Trying to set up new Charge HR, last one was a nightmare to sync and eventually fell to bits. I get as far as putting the pin number in and then it just says 'connecting' for ages. 'Sorry the set up is taking longer than usual. Please be patient (!). We're on it (?!)'
I've logged off and back on, restarted the device, restarted phone, switched Bluetooth off and on again. Any idea's before it goes in the bin?

I had the same issue with the Charge HR and my moto g(6) Android version 9, and it eventually paired and went into firmware update. All I did was wait, maybe about an hour. I was on a tech support chat with Fitbit when it moved off that screen. Good luck!

Same here. No idea what is happening. No idea if the coonection will eventually work or not. I have other devices on the phone that work perfectly but fitbit is painful to sync

Same issue here with ChargeHR. Tried multiple times, just keeps "connecting...." forever. I will try some other health fitness app.
