text and call notifications not working with lumia 950 xl

am i/can i activate text and call notifications for my charge 2 and lumia 950xl or is this option unavalible to my combo ?

if it is achieveable then what am i doing wrong and how do i set it up please

Just an update (escuse the pun) on the situation with call notifications for the Windows 10 Mobile.

but im now so over my fitbit (and had forgotten about this discussion) as ive learnt it so wonderfull it can even trace my exercise and hart rate when im not even wearing it and that its sleep mode couldnt tell when i woke up it just kept me asleep untill i manually change my wake time and this bacame constant

and syncing had become harder to initiate untill the 7th of jan as thats when its totally decided to completely stop syncing with anything it was conected to no matter what i try

so ive had enough of it being usless and have at moment given up on it

Hello! Call notifcations works perfect, but most important for me is the text notifications. If anyone can help?

Probably not @leslaw. without knowing the phone that is giving you problems and maybe we also will need to know there messaging app

On Microsoft Band 2 somehow everything could work without a problem, I doubt it was a problem phone. Fitbit did not want the app to improve simply:( I understand that the topic can be closed.

Yup I would expect a Microsoft product will with a Microsoft product. 

This certainly would be easier than make I V a product designed to work with 3 types of phone operating systems, and when it comes to android with I set hardware standard and only a little more consistancy with the OS.

Everything now works fine! Text notifications work on Lumia 950XL as they should. The workaround was to disable Skype as a text messaging application. When I restored the standard application immediately notifications began to come. Question whether users of other systems also have truncated SMS messages? And whether as I reject the call is whether you can set an automatic SMS to the person who called?
