Has anyone else had an issue with their Inspire HR battery recently dying?
This week - 07/19/2021 through 07/23/2021, my Fitbit battery is not lasting more than 1 day without dying. It used to last 4-5 days when I purchased it in 2019. I've not had any issues with it until this week. I cleaned the contacts with an alcohol swab as suggested and rebooted it. It was at 99% battery life at 12:30 p.m. EST on 07/22/2021 and then at 4:52 p.m. EST on 07/22/2021 it was at 77% charge. I did see a forum that told me to switch to a Shifted or Simple Stats clock face. Upon doing that, the issue was not fixed. I really haven't had any issues with it until this week and no complaints. I'm wondering if this is just planned obsolescence?
I would NOT buy this model if you are planning on buying a Fitbit because after reaching out to customer service for help through chat, it doesn't seem like the company stands by fixing the issue if something goes south, but they're more than happy to take your money and run!
My boyfriend, by contrast has the Charge 3 and has not charged his in 7 days and it's at 30%.

I've sent your information to the Customer Support team for further assistance with this, but was indeed informed that you already have a case created or that you already got in touch with them. In this case, since you already tried the troubleshooting steps found in the forums to solve battery problems, they will let you know how to proceed or if there are any options available for you.
