3 days old Inspire HR device does not show sleep stage data, have problems with alarm also

My 3 days old fitbit device does not show sleep stage data. It also has problems syncing with the app ( unless app is opened in my iPhone, it does not sync). I have also noticed that alarm does not go off when set from the dashboard.

 

Sleep and heart rate was the most important criteria for me to buy HR device. Please let me know how I can use my device to get access to full extent of this data.
