ACTUALLY SOLVED: What is the heart rate sample frequency for the InspireHR (and/or Charge 3)?

I wrote this because I couldn't find any clear information on how often these measure and record heart rate and there is no definition of how they define "continuous."

Several people had posted saying that they believe it every 5 seconds in rest mode, every 1 second in workout mode but I couldn't find anyone citing to any Fitbit docs that actually confirm that.

The informaiton is NOT in any of the obvious places on the fitbit website:

- The PurePulse explainer

- The InspireHR guide

- The Help topic on "HOW ACCURATE IS MY HEART-RATE DATA ON MY FITBIT DEVICE?" links to another article called "How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?" (neither answer the quesiton).

Is NOT included in the links from prior questions that have "solved" the question:

- Alta HR and Charge 2 Heart Rate Sampling Rate - SOLVED (links to some of the above links that do not state the frequency sample rate).

- One person has shared their data on sample collection rates for two older devices here but seems weird that this data would need to be generated by the users and not the company.

But then I found that it is buried in the "SPECS" section of the individual product info page under the heading of "MEMORY." For both the InspireHR and the Charge3, it says: "Stores heart rate data at 1 second intervals during exercise tracking and at 5 second intervals all other times."

Hi @emma7145  Well done on your detective work! I had no idea where the figures came from.
