I cleared my data by accident and now I can't do anything with my Fitbit. I don't have the data code or any information from the box it came in (misplaced it some how) Any suggestions? Thanks

Try going through the initial setup process again. From the main screen of the app select your profile image at the top left. Then select "set up a device". Choose the Inspire and follow the prompts. Hopefully this will get you working again.

So I tried this but it didn’t work. Initially when I signed up my Inspire, I had a 4 digit code and entered my email address. When I try again it says “ sorry this email address is already in use. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it but nothing worked. I’ll probably just use the Fitbit as a watch.

If it's saying the email is already in use then it suggests that you are trying to create a new fitbit account.

There's no need to do this. You want to login to your existing, original, fitbit account in the app and then add the fitbit as described above. This way you keep all your settings, data, badges etc but if you create a new account then you'd lose all that.
