Active minutes vs Active Zone minutes swimming to Virgin Pulse employee benefit

Has anyone synced minutes swimming to an employee benefit program like Virgin Pulse?  The Fitbit support home page has a BROKEN to a page describing information I might need labeled:  Employee Wellness & Health Plan Members -- https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/home

My old fitbit accurately reports Active Minutes based on steps and duration synched to Virgin Pulse employee benefit system; we have a cash incentive for accumulating Active Minutes.  VP Support can't answer detailed questions about particular device models and directed me to this forum.

It appears Active Minutes are calculated differently among models, and I NEED ASSURANCE I WILL GET CREDIT BEFORE I UPGRADE TO A NEW MODEL.  I want credit for SWIMMING and there's conflicting information over whether the INSPIRE 2, or any other tracker, usefully records, much less syncs, Active Minutes.  There is also ambiguity between Active Zone Minutes and Active Minutes captured on the device and synced to Virgin Pulse.  Apple Watch has no such ambiguity.

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1379.htm --  "*Your Fitbit device doesn't track your heart rate during a swim workout. YOU EARN 1 Active Zone Minute FOR EACH MINUTE OF SWIMMING".  This would seem to inpose no impediment provided 1 minute of swimming indeed equals 1 Active Minute.

My old Fitbit syncs Active Minutes for walking; do Inspire 2 Active Zone Minutes sync the same as Active Minutes?  If so, 30 minutes of swimming should offer 30 Active minutes of Virgin Pulse credit.  However, there seems to be no guarantee ANY device can track swimming minutes reliably.  I found this in the Versa forum https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Other-Versa-Smartwatches/Swimming/m-p/3786260#M124753 -- "My 45 minutes of lap swimming is not counted as "active minutes".  It is recorded in the dashboard, but not active minutes! " ..."I don't know how it is measured in case of the swimming (and whether it's measured at all as you can't see it as active minutes then probably not at all)."
