Hi,
This is my second Inspire HR and I am having many of the same pairing issues. At first set up connected to Windows 10 laptop with USB, I got the code, but got an error message that it did not pair correctly and if I had sync issues I may have to re-pair. Then it tried to update and said "could not find device."
I eventually installed FitBit on my Jitterbug Andriod phone, and was able to run the firmware update (although it too 40 minutes), but the clock was two hours ahead, and when I said "sync" the wheel just spun and spun and when I tried to adjust the clock faces I again got the message that it could not find the Inspire HR. So I removed it from my account and tried to reinstall.
Now, no matter what I do, no device will "see" the Inspire HR. When I say "set up device" it asks me what device, I click "Inspire HR" and it almost immediately returns back to the account home screen after asking if I am sure I am plugged in.
Can anyone help?
1) Why will my Windows 10 laptop bluetooth not find the Inspire HR. (when I go to discover bluetooth device nothing comes up at all)
2) When I try on my phone or tablet, it just returns back to the device setup page
3) When I go to bluetooth devices on phone, there's nothing there that says "Inspire HR" it can find the Charge 2, but not the new one
4) How do I "reset" the Inspire HR? I've tried holding down the power button and nada.
Notes: I still have a Charge 2 device set up on the account as I am too afraid to remove it until the inspire HR is working. It mostly works, but manual syncing sometimes takes an hour. The Windows app set up did ask if I wanted to make the inspire hr the default app, and I said yes, but then removed the inspire hr app (could this have cause an issue?)

Update: I've managed after multiple attempts to use the laptop Windows 10 app to setup the device. It still WILL NOT PAIR with anything although the tracker is working. On the phone, can see the Inspire HR under available devices but still getting message that it "cannot communicate" with the Inspire HR.

I'm having the same problem. Using the device shouldn't be this hard....
