After update no longer accurate or useful to me...

I'm ready to trash this **ahem**...

After the update a few weeks ago I've found that I'm no longer able to accurately track my bike rides in auto-recognize mode and even tracking "walk" periods are hit or miss...in many instances they are now half the duration times!

Also my daily steps have been significantly reduced and sleep tracking is not accurate either and will now intermittently log my nights sleep as a series of restless periods which I know is not accurate...I'm sleeping very well with no apparent changes to my sleep quality..

And yes, I have reset this many times and still no improvement...And yes, I have cleaned of the back of the fit bit sensors...And as always I wear my Fitbit on my non dominant hand...

I would love to be able to go back to the older version as I had no problems with that version....

Cleary your engineers did a poor job verifying the update before releasing as I know I'm not alone after reading many of the posts here...

Very disappointed...

Woooord!

I agree with all the issues that tomadda brought up!

I have the exact same problems, and I think you should reale option to roll back or SUPER quick hot fix to this current version.

OH, I also think you need to refresh work procedures in the QA department...

It's frustrating that we haven't even heard back from these guys acknowledging there are problems with the update that was recently released...Would be reassuring to know that they are working on fixes and that a new update should be released soon to resolve these problems or people like myself will be looking for more reliable trackers elsewhere...

Update:

Nothing has changed...Still does not track bike rides accurately and on many occasions doesn't recognize the bike activity at all...

Ever since the update my Fitbit is useless to me...what a waste of money...

I just got out of a chat because since Monday my sleep logs are completely inaccurate.  They indicated Fitbit is aware there is an issue, but the sleep log has NOTHING to do with Bike logs.  I'm so dismayed that Fitbit is doing such an incredibly horrible job with "enhancements" and breaking things in the process.  And I'd argue their newer devices are definitely NOT improvements over their older ones.  The Charge 3 is not even usable by anyone with mid-age vision, however the Charge 2 is.  The Inspire HR is actually nice but why add ANIMAL FACE CLOCK FACES, and not enhance the functionality of existing ones.  The "only time" face is great in that it's finally a larger and bold text, but you can't swipe through the stats on it because it's "only time".  The one that is similar that you CAN swipe the stats is not a bold font and harder to read.  But no, lets spend hours programming a cat face instead...

I just don't get it.

Lol my first night it said I had over 6 hours and I wasn't even in bed that long and am an insomniac. Don't worry about that feature, its always off on the 5 models I've used. The alarm is useless as an actual alarm like I've been using the Charge HR & previous models for.

yup...like I said earlier ...it's now useless to me...

I found the sleep tracker actually worked fairly well for me before the update...afterwards the update it doesn't...

Also daily step counts have been dramatically reduced....And after the latest update it no longer recognizes or accurately tracks activities as a number of folks have already reported...

For the life of me I wonder why the heck Fitbit doesn't offer an opportunity to remove the last change and actually fix things before re-releasing...

It's comical that they apparently feel as if those juvenile clock face updates are more important than having a device that actually works well...

Just did bike ride this morning (29~30min) from 7:55 to 8:24...continuous with good pace ...

Fitbit only shows 21min...

Prior to the Fitbit update I did a few weeks ago my ride times agreed with fitbit and normally averaged 28~30min on same route I ride daily...After the update my rides either don't show up or are almost half the time I actually spent riding...

I am so done with this!
