All day sync not available anymore

All of a sudden I no longer have the sync all day button, and I have to go in and sync my Fitbit

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates, we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates. More frequent syncing rarely, if ever, noticeably decreases your device’s battery life. To learn more about what factors affect battery life, see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

I hate that update!!!! Please give us that option again. I use that option as an inspiration to try and do better on my steps hourly. That is without a doubt the dumbest idea I have ever heard.

So now my heartrate isn’t working and I recorded over 1000 steps less on my treadmill workout this am. If the only reason you took that all day sync away was to save the battery that is totally ridiculous because IF I WANTED MORE BATTERY TIME I WOULDN’T USE THE ALL DAY SYNC!! It just pisses me off you took that option away from me. Did you do this across the board to all fit bits or is only the Inspire HR the lucky ones?? I’m a 5 year user of Fitbit but if you refuse to give me back the all day sync then when this one dies I’m switching to another brand. I think you should give me a partial reimbursement because you took away an option that made the Fitbit worth the 110$ I spent for it..... now it’s worth alot less to me or anyone else....

I have the same issue - now that all day sync button is gone, I can no longer see current HeartRate on the app.  That is extremely annoying, as it was very useful to have the HR show on the screen constantly while exercising or whenever I wanted to check. Now I can only check current heart rate on my device on my wrist which is impossible to monitor while on the treadmill, etc.

Even if all day sync is gone, how can I get my heart rate to show real time in the app? all i can see is resting heart rate.

So now that you know your stupid update totally screwed up the heartrate  and caused it to  not work anymore except as a resting heartrate what are you going to do about it?

Same here , no live heartbeat reading. I have afib and was using this device to monitor my condition now that's gone please create  a workaround so live heartbeat reading is working on dashboard

ricardofitbit is the fitbit rep whom replied to me.  I thing everyone should reply to his feed and see if they will give us back what they took away.  I think they didn't expect the heartrate to stop working when they took away the all day sync. Hopefully they will realize what a huge mistake it was.

Please return the ability to read heartbeat in real time on fit bit app dashboard. I have a heart condition known as arterial fibrillation where my heart rate is very important to monitor. I rely on this device to help me live life as normally as I can.Your attention to this issue is of upmost importance. Please fix or at least provide a workaround.

Just as an fyi I called fitbit and the csr had  me disconnect my fitbit and reinstall it using the set up new device.  My heart rate is working again.  Try calling 877.623.4997 and have them walk you thru it

Completely agree! We should be able to choose if we want all day sync.

I'm confused... Why don't you look at your band? I mean, why the need to see it live on your app if it's available on your wrist?
