After sync the app shows I have 114,000 steps today (I wish). the inspire is correctly showing 9,700. The app has been consistently showing far more steps on the current day since I switched to the inspire about 3 weeks ago. After the day is over the correct amount shows in the app, but I have to look at my inspire instead of the app to see where I truly am on the current day.

I'm having a similar problem. When I walk, Inspire shows that I've walked my 10,000-step goal and does its little celebration. When I first look at the app, it shows the same thing as the Inspire. But a few minutes later they both go backwards, especially the app! The app--and sometimes the Inspire too--subtracts up to 1000 steps (and corresponding miles) from what they initially celebrated. Then I will get a message saying something like "you only have 200 more steps to go" -- when I already supposedly met the goal hours earlier. This has happened to me several times. I've tried syncing manually and have also tried exiting the app and turning it back on again. I'm nervous about doing that very often, though, because I don't want to lose the records of the past few weeks.

Helped a little bit. Now if I refresh 2 or 3 times the correct data is displayed for the day.

the fix worked for a couple days, but now it's back to adding extra steps to the current day.
