Hi There!
The Fitbit app on my IPhone looks different than yesterday, and I think it's not so nice.. I don't know was there any refresh or something else, but my friend's app interface looks as mine as yesterday. Yesterday it was big icons, and very colourful, but now small icons, which are different located on the screen, etc. Can somebody help me to gain back the original screen which shows on the App Store as official look?

The new app design is being rolled out slowly and has not yet reached everyone. Once you change to the new layout you cannot go back to the old design.
It can take a little getting used to but fitbit has a guide for it that may help: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2435

I got the new one and hate it. All day the front page has been telling me one thing about my calories and as soon as I click into my food section it changes. Thanks for the extra 300 calories I ate due to the mistake.

I agree, this "new experience" is terrible.
Not a fan. I wish I could go back.

Unfortunately we can do nothing, but hope it will change soon, to a more attractive one, or the same as it was.

I got the new look this morning, and while I enjoy change and jump on trying new things, I find this new look is terrible.
- Less color
- Smaller icons (for no reason)
- Much more wasted white space (also for no reason)
I would appreciate the changes more if they served a purpose, like fitting more data on the screen without having to scroll down, but as it is, I can see less data on the screen now than I could before, except now I have to squint to see it. If we could get the ability to resize these boxes to minimize the white space and increase the amount of data visible on the screen, it would be great!

This may sound crazy but my battery life dramatically increased since the update to the new interface. Don't know what this would have to do with battery life but it's been getting better with the Fitbit improvements and so forth.

I’m still waiting to get this! My friend has had it for weeks-I’ve taken the most recent updates and everything...

The new look is horrible!! Dumbed down, if anything. The sleep section now tells me to 'Wear my fit bit when I go to sleep' as if I haven't been doing that every night for two years. The overall look is smaller, less definite. And how dare they try to charge me to access my own data in sleeping heart rate and restlessness! It costs half as much again per year as I paid for the fitbit. They can whistle for that. We should have the option to keep the old app look.

Is there a proper introduction to this "new design"? I got the prompt today and am saying no for several reasons:
1) There is no going back. So I have to blindly opt in and then if I don't like it I can't go back? Hard pass.
2) Fitbit's own page on the subject is mostly text telling me how to do things but doesn't show me enough screenshots to know what to really expect: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2435
3) In the years I've been using the Fitbit app there have been no real usability improvements. And while I've gotten used to it in the current state of the app, a complete overhaul promises to bring about new "weirdness" I will be forced to adapt to. Take time zone management, where you have to scroll through a list ordered by region & city until you find the location you want. There is no search and so switching between various time zones often requires tons of scrolling instead of being able to type a few letters and have it filter down the list automatically like in the core iOS settings.
Sorry for the rant on #3, but I think their choice here speaks volumes on what to expect by a complete app overhaul. But really, #1 is the main one. If you want folks to opt-in to something and give feedback ... you have to provide them a way to opt-back out in case they don't like it.
@Rosielee, @Jenas90, @hrc1968, @sailorbear510 , @Cinnagar If you or anyone else in this thread could provide more screenshots so others might know what they'd be getting into that would be helpful.
@Rosielee can you clarify what has changed that led to your comment: "And how dare they try to charge me to access my own data in sleeping heart rate and restlessness! It costs half as much again per year as I paid for the fitbit"

I have the new layout but I can't seem to figure out how to set the alarm on my fitbit. I've searched all the icons and there is no option for the alarm

@Christine_rea On the main "today" tab of the dashboard, select your profile image at the top left of the screen, then select your fitbit. You will then be on the device settings where you'll find the alarms.

The new UI us horrible. No one wants it. No one likes it. No one asked for it. Fitbit needs to listen to their customers and kill this new UI. I’m actively looking at Apple Watch and Garmin now. I will not continue to use this UI.
There may not be any going back, but we can go away.

The new app is ugly and boring. The prior version was brightly colored and fun (hello, multicolored confetti!) , and much more attractive set up in the double column of tiles. PLEASE let us go back!!

I HATE the new app interface!!!!!!!!!!! It’s terrible. Generic, clinical looking. The old one was fun! I loved the amazing graphics that lit up when I met my goals. Especially the streaming green stripes! The interface changed automatically. I didn’t choose it, so I feel violated. I have just lost 45 lbs using this app and I’m very attached to the old interface. Again, I HATE it.

I hate it too. My device has also stopped syncing with the app via bluetooth. Have had to reconnect 3 times already today - coincidence...hmmmm

We’re you paid to say you’ll get used to the new interface? It’s ugly and not useful. And it turned off my sleep measurement. I’m fed up with it already. This is is NOT solved. Give me back the interface that I like.

Adding to this...
My mom inherited my old Alta (I have the Inspire HR). Her eyesight is not great, and the new app makes it really hard for her to see and navigate. She really likes the version of the app that I have (old version). If we cannot go back, can we at least have something with bigger tiles?

I wish I was given an update prompt. I just open the app and things have changed. I feel like this is happening quite frequently now and not a fan of it
