Hi @Evvie2. Good to see you participating in the community. 

Thank you for taking the time to share the inquiry regarding the Inspire 2. 

Please, try to follow these steps:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Make sure your phone is using a strong WiFi connection or mobile data.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and log back in.
  6. Tap on the exercise tile and check if the map loads correctly this time.

Did all of this  if I go into start activity the map comes up then I can choose run or walk but no actual run or walk recorded

If I go way  back to April I can go in and call up the last run on that day and see the actual route with times etc  however several weeks mising. I will go for a run in the next few days to see if it works now

Did not work! June 10 the app stopped providing laps/pace. (inspire 2) has been working well linking distance, GPS, laps. pace till that date. Last issue was related to some Fitbit interface  update. Maybe here as well?
