I received a message on Fitbit Inspire just now telling me that my dashboard was inaccessible due to essential maintenance work being undertaken and to check back in 30 mins. On checking back after 30 mins the dashboard is accessible but 'Mins' is showing as the main goal instead of 'Steps'. I've checked settings and 'Steps' is still tagged as the main goal. I've tried resynching several times ... no luck. I've tried deleting 'Mins' from the dashboard as the main goal and replacing it with 'Steps. This worked until I resynched a couple of seconds later. Then it reverted to 'Mins' as main goal! Seems like Fitbit essential maintenance has backfired!
Not happy.

@Chudleigh It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your Fitbit app not showing your steps as main goal and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure the app is up to date.
Let me know how it goes.
