A few days ago, after upgrading to the new and absolutely horrible Fitbit app, my Samsung Galaxy 6 started freaking out and got locked in a loop with a notification that the "connected GPS was running". It drained my battery in 1 hour. (My battery usually lasts me all day.). When I tried to clear the notification, there were so many more of the same notification that it kept refreshing and flashing the notification again. I cleared the notifications 10 times before I gave up and had to shut down my phone to reboot. I have never gotten a notification that my "connected GPS was running" before that upgrade and can't seem to shut it off. Not sure whose idea this "new" thing was or who thought it was a good idea to "fix" something that wasn't broken, but they need to seriously rethink things.
