Battery symbol with exclamation mark on Inspire HR

Has anyone had the battery come up with an explanation mark inside the picture of the battery? If so what does this mean.

Let me help you with the symbol you are seeing on your Inspire HR. This means that your Inspire HR's battery level is critically low and needs to charge. You can follow these instructions to properly charge your device.

I'm having the same issue. My Inspire HR has 17% left on the battery and I get a battery with an exclamation mark. When I press the button a couple of times it goes back to normal display, but for the period when the exclamation mark appears it is not tracking my activities. Please help!
