My beats per minute accurately shows on my HR Inspire device, and until yesterday accurately synced real-time to my iPhone app. Because the device is hard to read, I keep my app open on my phone during bike rides, elliptical, hikes, etc and the app tells me what my heart rate is. While working out, the resting heart rate on the app used to adjust to match my device. Now the app only shows resting heart rate, which doesn’t seem to change, and doesn’t change to provide my current beats per minute. Very frustrated as this renders the heart rate monitoring useless since I can’t read the device in the bright light or without reading glasses

It would be nice if Fitbit inc actually acknowledged there was a problem and at least attempted to fix it - or does this customer chat absolve them from any responsibility 🤷:male_sign:☹️

The same thing happened to me just five days after I got my new Inspire. Perhaps it takes that long to establish your resting BPM? But like you, the BPM on my Inspire changes based on my actions, but the number on my iPhone app is just showing my resting heart rate.

It's working now. I restarted it by connecting it to the charger, pressing the button for five seconds and then waited for the smiley. After that, the BPM on my iPhone and the Inspire HR matches.

Same happened to mine , I didn’t see any number on my activity minutes and I didn’t see floor steps on my dashboard too . Just wasted join challenge. And my personal best didn’t change since last year .

Thanks so much for all of your tips. Unfortunately none of them worked. Another beef I have with the HR Inspire is that I can’t read the display in direct sunlight, which is when I most need it. Since the BPM does not sync real time to my iPhone app, which I can read in sunlight, I’m giving up on this device and probably getting a Garmin.
