Screen on Fitbit inspire 2 went black for some reason even though there was at least 40-50% charge in it. Only have the watch a year and this is the first issue, but I shouldn’t be having the issue.
I followed some suggestions in the forum similar to this problem, pressed and held the buttons for a short time to reset (several times), the smiley face did appear twice but the clock face never appeared on the screen (this works for most people I saw). When I press the buttons once on charge the watch does vibrate but the screen is still black
Also tried changing the clock face in the app but the watch is unable to be paired to my phone and is not recognising it when I scan for it to pair.
can I get this issue resolved

I am having the same problem! And I did all the same things you have done...I have chatted with fitbit twice now. The 1st time was before Christmas I believe...they were to email me about the issue...never did. Today I chatted with them again and I am suppose to be getting an email from them within 24 to 48 hours. My fitbit is less than 1 year old I believe...and I am just as unhappy as you are. I have never had any issues with fitbit in the past...but this is pretty upsetting to me...

Hi davisma
Did Fitbit reach out to you like they said they would in your reply above?
What way did you contact them directly through phone and or online help chat?

They did reach back out to me, and it was a lot faster than I thought it would be. Basically saying I needed a new fitbit and that mine was past the 1 year warranty. They did give me a code for I think it was 35% off a new one.
I spoke to them thru the online chat and it was really simiple and that person I spoke with was really nice.
