I bought my fitbit just over a month ago and was working fine up until wednesday. The screen has gone blank. It will charge and if i wear it it still tracks my steps as can see on my Iphone app. How can I either get this fixed or replaced?

This has happened to me a couple of times, lasts for like 20 mins or so but eventually goes back to normal.

Mine just did this yesterday. It had done it a few times for short intervals but yesterday morning it went blank after being on the charger an has not resolved itself.
What is going on?

Ok, so I chatted with costumer service. They had me plug my Fitbit back to the charger and hold the side button done for over 5 seconds. It took two tries but then it rebooted my Fitbit and now it's back to normal. Hope this is helpful.

Found the restart instructions as you were posting. Took me three tries but mine is now functioning correctly

Does your data come back after resetting it?

According to the help file I read, the data is not deleted.

Thanks. Ive not even had it for 2 months and this is the 2nd time its done it. First time i needed an app update but not this time. Ive got 27% battery so not sure why its done it
