Blue light flashes at night - make it stop!

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I wear my Fitbit Inspire HR to bed to gather the sleep data. Every time I move or roll over, it starts flashing a blue light that disturbs my sleep and my wife's sleep. How do I make this stop?

On a related note, I cannot find 'Settings' or another obvious place to change these sorts options on the app on my iPhone. I really miss he reliable simplicity of my old Flex.

Hi @SunsetRunner welcome to the Community Forums! I really appreciate the time you took in order to report the issues with your Inspire HR.

Thanks for troubleshooting prior to contacting us. Sorry to hear this blue light disturbs your sleep and your wife's sleep. I'd like to have more information about it. Where are you able to see this light? Can you please share an image of this?

I'll be waiting for your reply.

I think the issue is related to the ‘raise to activate’ or similar feature. How do I disable this? If it’s more than two steps, please send a link to instructions or a video. Can’t send a picture because the light flashes for only a few seconds at a time and we’re trying to sleep. Thanks.

It’s a simple issue. The display turns on at random times while I’m asleep and it wakes me up. Nobody can tell me how it stop that from happening. I even read the user manual I found online, nothing. I used a Flex happily for four or five years. Now I get the Inspire HR and it is ruining my sleep. I’m returning the cursed thing today, and never buying another over-engineered Fitbit product ever again. All I ever wanted was something to count my steps, track my sleep, and work with an app where I could enter my calories. I am so terribly disappointed to have to end my relationship with Fitbit in this manner.

Found it... maybe. Setting for raise to activate.  Hold button for an extra second, opens some settings. Light bulb icon, tap to turn off or on. Saves battery to have it off.
