Brand new inspire wont turn on

Brand new inspire fully charged but wont turn on or connect to my phone. My phone is compatible.

Please let me know if you have tried this yet? 


If you can't sync Inspire, don’t see your stats, or your tracker is unresponsive, restart
your device:
1. Connect Inspire to the charging cable. For instructions, see "Charge your
tracker " on page 6.
2. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds. Release the button.
When you see a smiley face and Inspire vibrates, the tracker restarted.

tried this now i have a pink lone running through screen. I have never used it before it is brand new .

I am having the same problem! I charge it first, but now all I see is the pink line and when I tap the screen nothing else shows!

I deleted the fitbit from myphone app and reinstalled it.then updated it.
Finally working!! Try that 🙂
