Is there any way to set up my fit bit on my laptop without having to use a phone first?

Hi @Hijohnjohn no, the ability to do that was removed quite some time ago. You will need to set up on a compatible phone or tablet. After set up, you can access some of the features from your computer, but that has been reduced over time.
